Hi, I’m Donna, the heart (and the camera!) behind Diarie Design. I’m a Seattle-based wedding and family photographer with a film-inspired approach, and I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years ( can you believe it!). Over that time my style has shifted and grown, but one thing has stayed the same: I shoot for the people who romanticize what is real.

I love color. I love warm light. I love it all! Well except loosing my jacket because I put it down in a field and forgot about it, but that only happened twice!

How will our session go? I’ll guide you with poses and prompts, but mostly I’ll let things unfold naturally. I expect to see lots of snuggles, hugs, kisses, giggles, and real joy!

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m chasing my 3 year one around ( trust me she's fast!), trying to avoid my urge to go antiquing every day, being a stay at home mom, and being an active member of the Latvian community with my daughter in Latvian school and I dancing with Trejdeksnītis.
